Position Overview
We are looking for a driven full-time junior recruiter. You will start in a support role working closely with one of our senior recruiters and grow into a recruiter role over time. You will source, screen, coordinate, and manage candidates across a wide variety of private household and estate positions, while learning our process end-to-end. As you develop, you will take on full recruiting responsibilities with a clear path to owning client searches in NYC. The role is largely remote, with the expectation that you are available and willing to meet clients and candidates in Manhattan when the relationship calls for it. Candidates based in the greater NYC area, including Connecticut and New Jersey, are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Source, recruit, and build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for a broad range of domestic and estate positions
• Conduct candidate interviews and intake assessments; evaluate fit for specific household environments and client preferences
• Initiate background checks, conduct reference checks, and manage candidate communications during the search process
• Maintain accurate records in our candidate and client database(LOXO)
• Collaborate with the broader Crimmins team on active searches, candidate sharing, and business development
• Over time, develop and maintain strong client relationships in the NYC area, including initial consultations, ongoing communication, and post-placement follow-up
• Represent the Crimmins brand with professionalism, discretion, and warmth in every interaction
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a private household or estate role (e.g., house manager, nanny, etc.) and/or professional recruiting experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build trust and relationships with discerning clients and candidates
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting candidates to clients and managing their expectations
• A self-starter who is organized and can manage multiple searches and client relationships simultaneously
• Located within reasonable proximity to Manhattan for in-person meetings as needed
• Comfortable working in a remote environment with a small, collaborative team
Compensation
Expected compensation in your first year will be $90k-$100k, a combination of salary plus commission.
