Experienced Professional Housekeeper

Lower Westchester County, New York

Hourly wage: $45 per hour, plus overtime

Schedule: Shift; Monday through Thursday: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM Friday: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Occasional weekend and holiday coverage required Additional coverage expected at times for team support, PTO, or changes in the family’s schedule

Our returning client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join a well-established team in a large private estate with multi-buildings in lower Westchester County. This is a team-based environment with high standards. The home is maintained at a museum-quality level every day. The right person understands pace, precision, and consistency.

The Role

You will be part of a four-person housekeeping team responsible for maintaining a large estate home with multiple homes on the property to a very high standard.

This is a fully staffed home with housekeeping coverage seven days a week, year-round. Shifts are 8.5 hours, with a 30-minute break. This role requires consistency, reliability, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and overall upkeep
• Care of fine surfaces including wood, glass, leather, silver, and specialty finishes
• Laundry, including ironing and fabric care across a range of materials
• Kitchen support alongside the private chef team
• Closet and storage organization
• Maintaining the home in a constant state of readiness
• Occasional support at an out-of-state residence
• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure full coverage across the property

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-time housekeeping experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience working in a team environment within a private household preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and fabric care
• Verifiable references
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and adjust schedule when needed
