“This work has never been about filling a role. It has always been about honoring a relationship.”
David Crimmins has spent his life learning how to take care of people.
His path did not begin in staffing. It began in conversation, in sales, where he was drawn to understanding people and earning trust. It continued in seminary, pursuing pastoral ministry. What others might see as different paths, David recognized them as the same calling: to listen closely, to serve thoughtfully, and to show up when it matters.
That perspective has shaped his work ever since.
Over the past 25 years, David has placed everyone from traveling nurses to senior executives. He later turned his focus to the individuals entrusted with the most personal environments, private homes and family offices.
In 2003, he was asked to lead one of New York’s premier staffing agencies, with responsibility for its offices in Connecticut and Florida. He built it successfully, but it confirmed what mattered most to him was a more personal, relationship-driven approach.
In 2013, he founded CRIMMINS, Private Estate Placement with a clear intention: to create a firm defined not by volume, but by care. One that moves with discretion, invests in understanding, and approaches every search as a long-term relationship.
Today, that philosophy remains unchanged.
David’s work is grounded in patience, trust, and a deep respect for the responsibility his clients place in him, and for what that trust demands.
What You Can Expect
Working with David feels considered and unhurried. He takes the time to understand not just the role, but the dynamics of a household, how people live, what they value, and what will truly work over time. Introductions are made with intention. Nothing is rushed.
It is why clients return, and they rely on him not just for searches, but for counsel.
David lives in Cos Cob, Connecticut with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys baseball, boating, and tennis.
